Wren House, on Vicarage Street, enjoyed some fabulous entertainment from two local musicians Martin Smith and James Owen, and Greek Dancer Yanis, a delicious BBQ and even a visit from the Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Paul Macfarlane.
Residents had the chance to chat with Cllr Macfarlane and thoroughly enjoyed the fun-filled afternoon in the sun with their family and friends.
June, one of the residents at Wren House, said: “The garden party was wonderful. I really enjoyed spending time with my family, and it was lovely to meet some of the other residents’ loved ones.
“I was thrilled that the Mayor came to visit us and got the chance to see our wonderful home, he can pop back any time!”
Cllr Paul Macfarlane, Mayor of Warminster, said: “It is a lovely home with a real family feel. It was a real privilege to meet the residents who are all clearly enjoying their retirement years."
Lynn Boon, home manager at Wren House, said: “I’d like to express my thanks to everyone who attended the garden party and to all those who played a part in making it such a great day.
“The staff and residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves, you could see it on their faces! We feel very lucky to have had a visit from the Mayor, and our door is always open if he would like to come back for a cup of tea!”
Wren House is part of Wren Retirement Living, and is currently managed by Healthcare Management Solutions.
